600

600 women

600 boxes

600 lives changed.

Advent Health and Winnie Palmer hospitals serve 600 mothers on bed rest each year. 600 women in 2019 will experience a journey like no other. A journey filled with highs and lows, great joy and great sorrow, pain, worry, and fear-filled days and may end up feeling hopeless in a season that is actually full of God's Hope. This year, it is our mission to serve these 600 women by reminding them they are cared for, they are prayed over and they are not fighting this fight alone. We need your help!

how can i help?

the details.

Last year, I had the opportunity of meeting a mother on bed rest at Advent Health. The whirlwind of emotions that I felt during that visit are hard to fully grasp. Being back in the very same spot I said goodbye to Grady & Ryder, and then seeing how they are impacting lives - even today - in that spot wrecked me. I bawled throughout our visit as she told me she was about to make a shopping list for her mom, her closest family member was about an hour away, when the nurse came in with a Box of Hope. To her surprise, it was filled with exactly what she needed, including mouthwash which was her number one on the list.

"I opened the box and tears began to fall from eyes (joy). I truly appreciate this from the bottom of my heart, with this Hope I know God is sending me a message stating, "Daughter I (God) have you in the palm of My Hands!!" Continue to allow God to lead, guide, direct, and encourage!!!"

That, my friends, is why we do what we do. For all the women who need to hear, "I have you in the palm of My Hands," even when they're too scared to believe it.

She had her baby boy the day following our meeting and after some time in the NICU, he went home HEALTHY and happy.

A Box of Hope costs about $30-50 to fill. That's about $24,000 to fill 600 Boxes of Hope. With your help by sharing, sponsoring boxes and collecting items from friends and family, we can do it. We can make it happen. 600 women. 600 boxes. 600 lives changed. Because, she matters.
