hi friend, i'm jenna.

//

I'm a Florida girl longing for a Nashville world, Wife, Mama of four {two here to hold & two we long to see again in Heaven}, Content Creator of The Busy Bee & Founder of The Color Blue & Hope, & I'm on a mission to spread God's Hope, Love & Joy to women who are grieving the loss of their baby and women who are fighting for their baby while on bed rest. Here you'll find all the pieces that make me, me. A little of my family, my grief journey, my work-life, our home & all things color blue. I'm a lover of coffee, laughing & embracing the chaos. This life is messy & loud, but it's all about grace.

 In 2014, my world came crashing down as I was placed on bed rest four hours away from my family to fight for our twins, Grady and Ryder. We fought hard. Jesus fought hard and even though our outcome wasn't exactly what my heart hoped for, I can honestly testify that He still fights for me daily. Our boys were born prematurely while I was five months pregnant. Ryder was born sleeping & Grady lived for three hours and while they are in Heaven, I have found that their story still continues on. It begins with the color blue and it ends with hope. A hope only God can provide through His gift of love & joy in mourning.

While missing our boys hurts me to my core, I can assure you living life after loss has become more about being intentional and living life to its complete fullness. My hope in sharing our story is to remind other sweet mothers they are not alone and we're fighting for them, praying over them and loving them from afar.

Through our bed rest and grief journey, I've learned there’s a need in our hospitals and community that is lacking; Support for mothers on bed rest and comfort for the ones grieving the loss of her infant.
