& he talks with me.

April 20, 2015

"And He walks with me and He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known"

Oh, sweet Friends!! Jesus has been talking to me, and it just took me to be silent to actually hear what he's been saying. Today marks 7 months from our sweet boys' birthday into our world and into Heaven.

Seven months ago I was blessed enough to see their precious faces, to distinguish all the likeness is their features, the beauty in Identical Twins, feel their soft skin up against mine, and the gentleness of their foreheads as I kissed them. I have been blessed with that period of time, because I know many do not even get that.

Seven months ago our boys were able to walk in the light to live their eternal life with our Father in Heaven. A beautiful friend of mine told me she once read a book about Heaven, and the author was blessed with experiencing all the greatness that it is.

She said that as she saw God's throne she noticed that He was surrounded by all the unborn children, infants, and children. They meant SO much to Him that He kept them closest to Him.

Well, I've been trying to tell you that Jesus has been walking with me through this new season of life, and guess what, He's been talking too!!

A month or so ago I was driving home and noticed a white plastic bag in a tree. A quick thought passed through thinking, "Man that would have been cool if it was a blue balloon."

Later that day I was leaving a friend's house and to my surprise, I drove by a tree with a blue balloon!!! I mean COME ON!!

"Mommy, we're here. Mommy, we are with you."

They heard me and all three of them, Jesus, Grady, and Ryder all spoke to me. My heart still melts at the thought.

Later that week I found myself crying down I4 feeling the world crashing in. I couldn't take it anymore and I was screaming at God. I literally was yelling on the top of my lungs asking why I wasn't good enough and why He chose me to go through this. Did you know that God loves us even when we yell at Him? Did you know He much prefers we yell at Him rather than ignore Him? He is our Father after all. Please don't try to sit here and say you never yelled at your Dad..... That's what I thought. Even through yelling, you're creating the relationship that He longs for.

Anyways, I drove to the lake to just let it out and be with the boys. I looked up and what do you know, three balloons from their funeral were stuck in the tree.

"Mommy, we're here. Mommy, we are with you."

Along the way I've seen a red balloon next to my passenger door, a yellow balloon caught onto a car next to me, and a pink balloon stuck in a tree across the street.

Then there's today. On my way home from church, I was driving and thinking about the sermon. Today has already started out bright, and I was just relishing in the gorgeous skies.

And there it was, a blue balloon flying freely above the street for me to see.

Even seven months later they are saying, "Mommy, we're here. Mommy, we are with you."

He's talking with me, and I'm loving every minute of our conversation.

I dare you to be quiet for a moment and try to hear what he's trying to tell you. Look around, be open to the conversation, and open your heart to his words. I know he's been trying, just look and listen. That's all it takes.

I'd love for you to post a photo online and tell the world how he's speaking to you over this next week. I encourage you to share! I'd love to see, and join in on the amazing love that he always pours out.
