A year ago I wrote a blog called 'dear nurse A,' and thousands of readers shared it and spread the word in hopes of finding our sweet nurse. I wasn't sure if her name actually started with an A because I had met so many nurses during our pregnancy but for some reason, I kept thinking her name started with the letter A.
Within 24 hours I received a phone call saying they had found nurse A and her name actually started with the letter A. Florida Hospital got wind of our story and was on a mission to get us back together. My dear friend Asha of Bright Frame Films agreed to capture our meeting! Asha has been there ever since the day we found out we were expecting twins all the way until now, and I couldn't think of a better person to share my heart with.
During my darkest grief, I wrote a blog called 'a day, a month away,' about witnessing a birth video at church immediately after our loss and how I felt it was unfair that I didn't get the chance to have a birth video of our boys or a chance to celebrate their lives with loved ones at the hospital and today I got to do just that. Asha gifted me with the birth video I've always longed for, and as I watched it in a room filled with so many people at the very place our boys were born, I couldn't help but smile and think of how it's all come full circle. God is good. All the time.
This weekend over 8,000 people witnessed our video at FL Hospital's Town Hall and it brings me great joy to share with you as well. After a long year of keeping this a secret, I present to you, "dear nurse A." Our birth video.
